I know when I'm joking, they don't. End of story. I already said this, if they are being offended and I know about it I will chill, but until then I reserve my right to freedom of speech. If they're saying "stop", that doesn't mean it's offending them, just that they don't like being made fun of. No one does, but if it's honestly bothering them, all they had to do was PM me, telling me it's actually offending them and I would have been doing it less frequently.
