Titus, I understand what you're saying. I believe similar to you -- plotting something is not concrete, and therefore should not be bases for punishment. I also agree that D3V has provided some productive activity to the forums. He had his period of being an absolute moron, and then seemed to become more involved in the up-keep of the forums and trying to make it somewhat enjoyable. I agree with you up to that point.

I do believe he should be banned, though. Even now, his behavior was erratic, and while he provided some useful articles and meaningful conversation, his negative comments canceled that out. It is by the rules that were set when you were still an admin that D3V has been banned. His fickle behavior was just too much to put up with. Whether Sovereign has some personal vandetta with D3V is a question you should ask Sovereign. It certainly does not seem that way in my eyes, in fact, it seems that D3V has held a grudge against Sovereign ever since he became a moderator. Now, I remember back when Sovereign became a sup-mod that many people said that he had not been around long enough to be a moderator, but he certainly has been now, and it's been 1-2 years since he became moderator. Isn't that enough time to drop this puerile grudge? It's obvious by D3V's comments made via IM and on the forums that he hates Sovereign for some unknown reason.

A quick search reveals D3V's obvious malice towards Sovereign. That first link I've posted above was undeserved and way out of line, and most certainly deserved a temp ban as far as I can understand the rules. The reason D3V was perm-banned was because of what WW posted above. With Grav and Mantra, many members liked them, and no one actually believed that they wanted to ruin the forums. The posts that D3V has made on his new accounts hint that he doesn't care for the well-being of this forum anymore, and has complete disregard for the rules here. He's not questioning authority, he's unjustly disregarding it altogether, and that simply can not and should not be tolerated.
