Just make sure the far out there ones don't get into office. Alot of intelligent people believe in a god. I still consider them intelligent and able minded, they just would never get 100% respect from me.
What's more important than whether or not they accept evolution is how they respond to the experts. A president who openly denies evolution, something that the experts vehemently and unequivocally assert as true, is a scary thing.
