As far as the B&B squad goes, I should add that while they have the same names as the FOXHOUND members from MGS1, the fights are quite different. Also, while I used the machine gun in my first run though, apparently the fights are beatable using completely non-lethal means. While for the no-kills badges I think you only have to finish them off non-lethaly, to unlock some gun you have to complete the main fight for all 4 B&B as well as the "frog" event with RAT PT 01 in act 1 non-lethally to collect 5 statues. I don't expect you can complete the main fight for many of the B&B non-lethally without using recovery items, though. Also note that if you finish them non-lethally you collect their heads as camo options, I think.
