And just for some statistics - today I deleted twelve spam posts and banned three spammers. On the fifth, it was two spammers and ten posts. Between the fifth and today, someone else deleted three advertising posts and I assume they banned the advertisers (two of them), and on the fourth I delivered the cold mouse click of justice to two spammers who racked up twelve posts. All the spam over the past week seems to have followed the same general formula - a post with a story, ending in an ad for game gold. They often start with "bump and lurk".

Obviously those are only the ones I know about. The other staff members will have deleted whatever they found and banned whoever posted them.

We seem to have periods of quiet followed by a couple of weeks of spam and advertisements.
