I don't think having the ability to form correct sentences has anything to do with anyones ability to be a valid moderator. People can capitalize letters and use comma's when appropriate. It's not rocket science. However, the ability to be active in my opinion is the most important aspect to the new moderator. Chruser has pointed out that the position is more or less a spam control position. Not many threads/posts on this forum require much moderation. In fact the only ones I can think of at this moment are the ones that KA has abused his power in. Which is pretty ironic if you think about it.

Now, onto what I think the ideal moderator has.

1. An understanding of this forum, and what its purpose is. (How can you respresent something you know nothing about)
2. An understanding of what a moderator is. (In my eye's a moderator is little more then an internet cop. He is meant to enforce the rules.)
3. Activity, activity, and oh yea... activity. (The most annoying leader is one who never shows up)
4. The voice of his followers. (ie. The community, some of us are throwing idea's out as fast as possible. Awaiting word from a staff member that can do something about it. I would like the new moderator to be in a position to carry on our idea's. Moderators should be able to contact staff faster then a member can.)

The poll's should be up soon. The voting will begin and we will soon see who our next moderator will be!

btw, typing all proper and what not is just annoying and takes twice as long. i prefer to type like this because i can do it much faster
