I love it! Because once you get to the end, you don't know if he is just having a dream based on a fear he has, or if it was real! (I see that it is supposed to be a real event that he re-lives now) I also like how self-centered the character is that all the while with him having these dreams about how he felt when dealing with people in the same situation that he ended up, he didn't realize how much of a burden he was on his orderly. Also, how he believes that his end is a result of him killing the other 2 gentleman, not some orderly who is fed up with dealing with him. It plays out so wonderfully!
The only qualm I have is that the makeshift interroagtion doesn't last longer. I think it would build intensity if it was explained a little more. Let the reader discover that the questions are being asked a second time, but not through Martin questioning them...
But other than that one minor thing, I love it!
