Post Max Payne 2

Max Payne 2. The sequel of one of the most ground-breaking FPS games has ended up on my desk, and I played through all of it. The storyline and mood/environment is probably, if not, the absolutely best I've encountered in any game, but in return, it doesn't last long enough. I won't say how short it is, it just seems that the developers put a lot more effort into creating a few, superb levels than an insanely long-lasting adventure. Of course, the level editing tools (MaxED) will quite possibly be the source of some new, neat add-ons. The game looks quite a bit better than its prequel, although it's using the same game engine. Of course, it took over five years to develop this engine, so starting all over on something that works really nicely wouldn't be a good thing to do.

So, I guess the most important question is; is Max Payne 2 a worth sequel? Yes, it most definitely is!
