Monitors have gone down since last I checked, if a 19" is only $158.

Sounds alright, but it seems to me the price is a bit high if the monitor is half the price I'm used to seeing.

I've been out of the market for a while, so I'm likely not the best to comment.

i'd say it is a pretty good deal, but i'm not sure this matters but i would have gotten a more brand name of memory and maybe you could have gotten a better card for a better deal

Looks ok. The video card is kind of expensive for a 9600. Does he really need the All In Wonder stuff (T.V. Tuner, VIVO, etc)? You can probably get an old 9700 or 9800 for about the same price. Also, does he already have a case cause I don't see any on your list. Everything else looks cool though.

It is an admirable of you to pay for windows. I am ashamed of myself for downloading Windows XP Pro from suprnova.org.

He doesn't need it but wants it..
We figured, it's better in the long run to just get legit OS's..

I paid $200 for XPHome retail, and he gets XPPRO for $150 with hardware, that sucks...
