Solution to the virus

The virus got announced in the news today.. if any of you guys get it or even if you didnt, go here to get the patch to protect you from it

choose the security file for your operating system that contains the phrase "buffer overrun in rpc interface could allow code execution"

WHY IS THIS IN LINEAGE 2?

That's a worm not a virus... and it's because of Microsoft's mistakes, not because you DLed Lineage II.

i got a virus from Lineage 2...everytime i'd start the game it would say somethign about a virus and i would have to clcik dont run virus....it had soemthign to do with thta hack program that coems with it

That used to happen on my game too, but not since I reformatted, and downloaded the file Kuja gave. Now I'm running like the ginger bread man.

I had that too, I just told it not to run that program or whatever, as far as I know it's been running on both of my comps for years, and I never had any strange problems. It doesn't come from Lineage2.

I believe it was called regsrv or something?
