I think this player review i read of it about sums it up exactly.
First off i would like to say the the immersive feeling of being in the Star Wars universe had me going for a good 2 weeks, but now that i've gotten more in depth i see little in terms of long term gameplay. Sure they will add content in the months that follow and improve the overall stability, but how many missions can you do before it gets repetitive. Sure you can take on several different professions to keep things interesting but all the professions have the same kind of repetitive feeling once you get past the first branch of the skill system. Speaking of skill system, how many people actually have time to master your profession before you get bored. At the moment it looks like you have to get 400,000 xp just to get that master title for what? To kill more gnorts, bats, stormtroopers, imperial/rebel guards? Star Wars is about the galaxy (thus the title galaxies), yet there is no space, there is no death star, there are no tie fighters. All we get to see are glimpes of them flying overhead to keep things amusing for us. It will be several months, im emphasizing months, before we actually get to use ground vehicles. I guess we have to wait several years before we get to fly, by that time we will have paid enough of the monthly subscription to purchase 10 new games. Whats Star Wars without space, without jedi's, and without the force? This game. Yes you can open up a force slot and become a jedi, but we don't know how many hours you have to spend to become one, let alone how to open up a slot in the first place. If i had no life, or had no friends i could see myself becoming master, but for the average gamer this is too much of a daunting task that requires hours of repetitive gameplay.

Twenty-eight days... six hours... forty-two minutes... twelve seconds. That, is when the world will end.
