55 in a 40. Ive been driving 2 years and this is my first ticket. Have to pay $75 for the ticket and pay $30 for a 4 hour class im going to take which will take it off my record. FUCK o well. Had an eighth of dank and a fifth in my backseat and he didn't see it so its all good.
Twenty-eight days... six hours... forty-two minutes... twelve seconds. That, is when the world will end.
You sure are...then again you gotta take a 4 hour class.
I'd rather they put it on my record then take the stupid class.
Also, I'm take a driving class on saturdays for 4 weeks. I started last week, I heard this week is pretty easy because he'll give us a test and then tell us the answers right after. I hope he does 'cause I completely spaced out for like 5 of the 7 hours that the class is.
I'm probably gonna get a DUI before I even get in the car .
Eh, it's only four hours. The benefits of sacrificing that four hours are more than enough to make up for the lost time. Plus, you might actually learn something.
Let me give you one word of advice in regards to traffic violations. Do not, under any circumstances, convince yourself that driving without insurance is acceptable behavior. Driving without valid insurance will get you the most severe criminal penalties for minor traffic violations. You could be looking at jail time for no proof of insurance.
Well zeal311, if you drove where I lived you would get to write a 2000 word essay to get the points off your record, so I think going to a class shouldn't be that bad.
You have to take a class for doing 55 in a 40? I've been pulled over doing 46 in a 30 and all I got was a warning. I've never got a speeding ticket and I've been pulled over 3 times. Although, I got a parking ticket because I parked in my friend's yard with his consent(long fucking story)
Anyways, my friend just got pulled over for doing 108 in a 55. Yeah, he's a dumbass. He has to go to court and more than likely his license will be taken away because he gets pulled over about once every two weeks.
Yeah, I just learned about those insurance penalties in January. I had forgotten to put my insurance slip in my car and got busted for expired plates. I got out of any penalties by presenting a valid insurance slip during the time that I was pulled over, but if I genuinely hadn't had insurance, I could have been looking at jail time.
I was driving from June to December with an expired license as well. Talk about retarded.

Heh. It's a good thing I drive a POS car that CAN'T speed.
'89 Mazda 323 (Hatchback, painted white). Tough to speed on the interstate when it's a 4-speed manual.
Heh, I'm in a similar boat. '88 Saab 9000 S, hatchback. It's fine on the highway, but it overheats pretty damned quickly in stop-and-go traffic. Plus, the fan blower assembly is dead, providing me no heat, so it's nearly un-driveable in the winter. Hence the reason I put off renewing my license for so damned long.
