PS2 Crashing at the same place ALL THE TIME!!!

I've skimmed through a few posts about PS2's crashing, I couldn't find anything about my problem.

Whenever I go to the last Haitin mission (on GTA:Vice city), my PS2 crashes. Sometimnes it just stops, other times it clicks at me and it sometimes, but rarely, sounds like it is trying to chew up my game. I have got past this mission quite a few times before, but now it won't let me.

My PS2 hasn't crashed on any other games, just this one.

And one more thing, if I physically crash in the game, then my PS2 crashes. I've got to walk everywhere and hope that some pyscho doesn't hit me as I cross the road.

Anyone got any suggestions???

It's probably the disk. Clean it and make sure there are NO scratches.

I hated those missions. They pissed me off. Sniping, and using that plane were hell.

My game was fine. It crashed on the very LAST mission, right before I could waste Sunny.

Oooh. Bad timing. I kinda liked them missions. The plane one was fun. First bomb the car. Then a boat. Then KAMIKAZE the other two boats. He he he.

Great game, doesn't work on my Ps2 anymore. I got the bad model or whatever, 30001r or something, many people have had problems with it, and sony has no recall. How riddicolous.

3001 or something, I believe was mine. It still sucked compared to my brother's.

Hmm. Seems a bit stupid that they released a bad console. Mine I think is a 5001.

Anyway, have finished the main missions on vice city, and have got.........99/100 hidden packages. I've now gotta spend another six hours looking for that one little swine.
