Thumbs up Constantine

Let me be the first to say that this movie is not a waste of your $8. As John Constantine searches for the explaination to the unusual disregard of demons the the rules of the balance, you will find yourself constantly surprised by the turn events take, right up to the end. It was made with good use of suspense, and the effects were also excellent, with one small exception. This is probably the best made film I've seen this year. If 5 is average and 10 is The Matrix the year it came out, I'd give this film an 8; it's very good and I'd pay to see it once more in theaters, but it's not particularly ground breaking, and I'd be done with it after one more viewing 'till it comes to video.

I've heard a lot of bitching about how they raped the comic and changed everything but I'll probably see it anyway since I didn't read it.

I'm not real big on American comics in general, so I wouldn't know; I just know that it was good on its own.

It looked good.
So by my calculations...
Constantine=DOOM=RE
... Or am I alone in thinking it looks more like DOOM than the DOOM movie does. I mean... Cmon... Humans infected by a virus? Psh.

Anyway. I didnt even know it was out. I'll have to go see it.

I only have to pay $7 to see it. I am waiting for it to come to theatres here in a week.

I liked Constantine's character but the movie itself was just average.

I liked this movie alot, fearing it may end up with some schitzo's like all of the other movies i've seen this year. Good plot, good watch.
