Bread

I painted 50 of them. Only 45 of them fit inside my 5 bread baskets. I felt the obvious need to connect them all to a transformer and plug my headset in to listen to what they had to say.

Listen to what they had to say:

http://www.zelaron.com/gear/02_FurBrelise.mp3
http://www.zelaron.com/gear/03_ParallaxLoaf.mp3

(I sampled different sounds of bread, e.g. crispbread being broken in half, teeth chewing on bread, bread being dropped into a table, and so on. Then I remixed those three pieces of music using the samples.)

You would have to be a very cool person to hang out with IRL.

That last sound clip is going to be the next big thing on MTV.

It's always a joy when people try to take art to another level. It's great to hear this as mad as it is, it somehow seems perfectly in tune with the off-beat experiment of bread painting. I can't help relay a remark you just made to me on AIM. These yeasty tunes are truly "gnaw-some".

Classical musicians might frown, though. I really dig the crunchy beat of Parallax Loaf.

Haha! You're quite mad, aren't you?

You did a good job with mixing the sounds. And the bread looks very pretty. Well done!

I don't suppose you've ever heard of a [Swedish] band called Boy vs. Bacteria, have you, Chruser?

My sister just played me some of their new songs, and they reminded me of you and your bread tunes.

Thank you, I need a music video for them though.

Thanks, it was a fun (and time-consuming project) to work on.

Haha, I never want to touch anything even remotely related to bread again, at least for the next month or so. I have indeed obtained a haircut as of recent.

Maby i'm weird in a cool way too. But there is also the fact that I could be weird in a geeky way or nerdy or normal or just plain ecosentric.

Maybe he meant egocentric?

Then again, his mom is an ecologist or something. Some kind of scientist I haven't quite put to memory.
