My friend Linsen came here 5-6 years ago from China. This is a very racist area of the country and he kicked some redneck ass when they called him a "chink". It was funny though because he knew how to use the numchucks =D.

That section of Virginia is rural, Blacksburg itself is half the size of the suburb of San Diego I live in, and Blacksburg is the biggest town for 30ish miles in any direction.

As a predominantly White, redneck area, this isn't hard to imagine at all. There were *2* Asian kids at my High School while I lived in that area, a handful of Blacks and Hispanics, and an overwhelming amount of white people.

I can easily see where he could be coming from.

....

Fuck that. He killed 30 innocent people because he was confused and made fun of? Oh, well I guess it's okay then.

Honestly I don't really care about what he had to deal with. He shot up a school because his life was hard? Thats a joke, he could/should have been in counseling. This is like saying since I play GTA I am going to jack cars and its okay.

No matter what way you look at it ...the guy's a mass murderer and deserves to rot in hell. If he were alive he should have his skin peeled off and then be dipped in salt repeatedly. Then I'd say it was okay for you to feel bad for him.

No one said anything about agreeing with why he shot up 30+ people, we're sympathizing with his hardships due to his cultural heritage.

Just because we feel sorry for him because of his hardships doesn't mean we think he did the right thing by going on a killing spree.
