Custom built PC:

CPU: 64-bit AMD AThlon AM2 4600+ Dual Core (2.4ghz)
Mobo: MSI , NForce 570, SLi, ATX and all that jazz
RAM: 2x512mb Corsair DDR2
Graphics: 640mb ASUS nVidia EN8800GTS
Monitor: 19" Hyundai TFT Widescreen
HDD: 2x Seagate Barracuda 160gb
Accessories: 5.1 Surround Sound Creative P5800, Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard, Logitech MX610 wireless Laser mouse

I'm a-thinking of building a new one... but I haven't got the money, and this one still works. I'd like to build a higher spec one before Uni, though.

Honestly, I don't see any problem with that computer at all, Lenny. Maybe add some more memory, that's about it.

Well yeah, that I'm going to do when I know how much money I've got left from my Summer-job earnings.

To be honest, I'd prefer an Intel Dual Core over an AMD. Though by the time I come to build a new one, the AMD Quad Core should be out, which I'd buy instead of an Intel Quad Core.

Oh, and I want Vista sometime. I'll probably get it when SP1 is out.

Have they dropped any info of when SP1 is going to be released? I know there are still alot of pissed off customers that've had it for about half a year now waiting on MS to fix some of the BS along with vista.

Well, the beta is out soon, I think. So I guess that SP1 should be out around the start of the new year.

EDIT: Or maybe even sooner - http://blogs.zdnet.com/microsoft/?p=208

Hmm nice google find, Idk though. I've had Vista for a little bit now since this past weekend and not too many problems with it actually, I mean I do have 2 gigs of ram so it doesn't slow it down too drasitcally... I hear alot of bitching from people with 512, I mean shit, I had a hard time with XP running 512, I can only imagine how bad Vista is..
