Punch In - Punch Out

My work got a new Punch clock this week.. now instead of sliding our cards through a machine, we put our hand in this machine and it scans the back of our hand.

Now, it sounds pretty cool when I put it like that but it's honestly just a fucking pain in the ass. Since I'm the IT guy on 2nd shift, I had to enter everyone's number and have them get their hand scanned. To enter a user they have to get it scanned 3 different times, and then it has 3 pictures to compare your hand to every time you punch in/out.

So now when people wear rings and jewelry on their hand, it makes the pictures appear different and it won't let them punch in or out, so we have to re-enter half of the workers every time they come in.

Plus, this plant is filthy and some of the people who work here are filthier.. so having to place my hand where some fat nasty bitch with a yeast infection as already placed it just doesn't seem to appealing to me..
