Entertaining Games?
Reply

What games, as of late, have come out for GC that are entertaining to say the least? Being as I like the Zelda series, Metroid, Smash Bros. Melee was fun, what would you suggest for me?

Smash Bros, or Mario Kart: DD. Mario Kart DD has the great ability to have 2 people operate one vehicle (great for friends). And Smash Bros, wow what can be better when your bored, ... Entertaing is the bets.

Zelda is the best intense thinking game, as is metriod. But the other two are non serious goof around games.

There's an assload of them.

If you're looking for something Zelda-esque:

Eternal Darkness
Star Fox Adventures
Beyond Good and Evil
Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy

More action-oriented games:

Super Mario Sunshine
Viewtiful Joe
Resident Evil: Rebirth
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron 2: Rogue Laeder
Metal Arms: Glitch In The System

Multiplayer games:

F-Zero GX (Even if you're not a fan of racing games, F-Zero GX is abnormally addictive)
Mario Kart: Double Dash!! (Insanely fun)
Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour (A golf game shouldn't be this fun)
Soul Calibur 2 (I'm not a fan of arcade fighters, and this game fucking rules)

RPGs?

Skies of Arcadia Legends
Summoner: A Goddess Reborn

And on top of all that, there is so much awesome shit coming out this year, it's overwhelming. Resident Evil 4, Metroid Prime 2 (with multiplayer!), Star Fox (with multiplayer!), Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat and Tales of Symphonia (badass new RPG) are just a few titles that I will be picking up this year.

I knew you'd give me the non run-of-the-mill response. Thanks for the suggestions and for the elaboration on gameplay. I'll definitely look into some of these games.

If you haven't already read my reviews on BG&E, Viewtiful Joe or Eternal Darkness, I'd strongly suggest doing so.

I actually have already earlier today after reading this thread. I'm thinking BG&E will be the first one I purchase.

Good choice. Great game, and cheap too.
