Movies: Saw

For anyone else saying what I said prior to seeing it, "What the fuck is that movie about?" all you need to know if that it is great! Go see this movie now.

I've seen a preview here and there on TV, but never really paid attention enough to really get pumped up about seeing it. One of my roommates saw it (No pun intended) the other night and said it was awesome. I usually don't take his word for anything when it comes to movies, since we have completely contrasting tastes, but I decided to give it a shot anyway.

The entire plot is based in a decrepid bathroom, but don't let that statement throw you off. This is more of a fill in the blanks as the movie goes on types of plot. Flash backs are vital, and twists are around every corner, up to the very last scene, so don't kid yourself into thinking you've figured anything out.

This was extremely well written, extremely intense, disgusting, viel, and just about any other fathomable descriptive word you could think of. I heard it was comparable to Se7en, and holy shit, was it ever! You will find yourself cringing quite often, and the extent of every scene is so graphic that this certainly warrants a "Not for the faint of heart" disclaimer.

Honestly, you must see this movie, and you must see it as soon as possible. You will not be disappointed, trust me.

9.5/10
