Whoa, for max block with df, you must have like 150~ vit...
Df is for caster vs caster... the block on it is terrible... Anyways, scrap the max block with df, its really not worth it to have 1200 life in the end.

Besides from that, there doesnt seem to be a problem.

Max block is ALWAYS worth it!

My sorc has max block with a storm shield. Ends up having 700 hp (no life skiller gc's) w/o bo. Shes not meant for caster vs caster. Get enough for max block with homo, then just switch it out with DF when caster vs caster.

Btw if you want to go pure caster vs caster, no max block. But thats boring IMO.

Did I miscount or does he only have 120% increase to casting?

I know the breakpoint is 125%...did I miss something?

DF-30
HOTO-40
Arach-10
Stormcirc-20 (right? I forget I dont play NL really...)
Magefists-20

....shouldnt he have another +5% somewhere? Perhaps switch out a SoJ for a rare FCR ring with good mods? Or did I mess up?

Silly me. Arach is 20% not 10% thats where I missed it. You're right. Would it be better (and cheaper) if you ditched the HOTO and used a White wand with a preexisting +3 to spear or spirit (or ideally a +3/+3 to both!) to give you a +8 to something and switched out the SoJs for rare FC rings to make up for the mods lost and gain net damage to your spell of choice? (be a net of +3 levels after factoring it all in)?

ive tried using white wand, it only adds mayb 300 dmg if u have a decent 1, and i think the resist and everything else on hoto outweighs the 300 dmg, jus my opinion though

Sov you're looking at the FCR Table for a Sorceress...scroll up and look at the FCR Table for a Necromancer. They are different. You might want to consider taking a look at your deathriser and seeing if you can tweak gear if that was the table you were using for breakpoints.
