lol that is kind of funny because i only got 20 bounces but my score was already 3k because i kept hitting the coins which makes it lose height on its bounces.
Think not disdainfully of death, but look on it with favor; for even death is one of the things that Nature wills.
It's about half luck, half skill. I'm surprised they don't give extra points for consecutive coins. I think we should sticky this and make it Zelaron's competitive game. That is, until everyone gets sick of it(3-5 days). I'm waiting for someone to break 10,000 without Photoshop.
Low Score Challenge:
See how many bounces you can get while keeping the lowest score possible. Each bounce is worth 50 pts, unless you hit special blocks. At the end, take your bounces multiplied by 50. Each 50 pts that you are over your base limit of bounces to points ratio is minus one bounce from your total bounce count.
Example:
I got 42 bounces. 42 * 50 = 2100. However, my score was 2350. I went 250 points above my base limit of 2100, so I am penalized 250 / 50 = 5 pts. My modified bounce count would be 37 bounces.
Deadbeat Challenge:
This one is very much luck. From the start, move the board to the place you want it to be(probably over the first coin or high bounce). Then leave it there. See how many points you can luckily pick up.
High Bounce Challenge:
Do I have to explain?
High Score Challenge:
Could Bush figure it out? Probably not.
I got 1700 without moving the platform at all. No I didn't play it for hours either. Thanks to poor programming, if you get a pixel-perfect position the ball will be able to hit any of three different spots. I can't get a fourth one, but three got me enough for the 1700.
