Crystal Chronicle belongs on PS2? I fail to understand that reasoning. Don't forget, Square started with Nintendo. If Final Fantasy belongs anywhere, it's on a Nintendo console.

Of course if sony had a system back when square started on nintendo it might be a whole different story.. remember Playstation came after Super Nintendo
If it hadn't been for Nintendo, the Playstation never would have existed in the first place. The PSX was originally designed by Nintendo as the SNES CD-ROM peripheral. But, they ended up scrapping the project and selling the whole thing to Sony. And Sony did almost no work to redesign it aside from what was necessary to make it a stand alone console instead of just a peripheral. So, technically the only Final Fantasy game to ever appear on a Sony console is FFX, and FFX sucked. Final Fantasy belongs with Nintendo.
FFX was horrible, I played through near the end, and just quit. Finally got sick of it. FF8 was bad too, though I gotta admit that card game was awesome. XD
Economically, there'll probably always be atleast two game console companies fighting to the death, cause if there was just one it'd be a monopoly and they'd get split up by the US government or something. :/ I'd rather have nintendo vs. sony and just leave microsoft out of the whole ordeal. Hmm, i wonder if you could metaphorically call the playstation a bastard child?

Everyone knows that FF2 and 3 (IV and VI) were the best ones anyhow -- The ones made for a Nintendo system. Square is getting back to its roots making for Nintendo again. Horah for them.

I agree. Their games went pretty much downhilll in quality, and uphill in cheesey graphics went they went to sony. I'm hoping for a turn around soon since they're willing to put games on nintendo consoles again.

FF9 was the best one in the series, in my opinion. But, that's the only one from the Sony-era FF games I like better than the Nintendo-era games. And that's mainly becuase of the fact that it's so much like the Nintendo-era Final Fantasy games, only much much prettier.
