a cruel mat of evisc 300%ed+63 max damage 2 sockets w/2*40/15ias jewels
string of ears 8/15/15
2 11% life leech rings with +40 hp 50 poison//lit resist 15 str/dex
1.08 goreriders
highlords
1.08 gaze with cham rune
ber'd 220% ed shaftstop
6%ll/15str/dex/20%ias/+40 hp gloves
thats 8 fps...+45 dex/str bows damage is 107-293 30%ias
charms would be 31*3/20/20 and 9*5/20's (shimmering of vita)
stats at level 99 would be something like 100/180/295 vitality/base
thats approx: maxed damage reduce, 2200 (2197)hp, 2600 damage ( physical), 260mana, 1-30 lit dmg, 7-22 cold damage
you're resists in hell are -25/-25/75/75 ...those are the most important resist imo for dueling
you're skills can very based on your strategy in zon dueling (strafing spamming close or whatever)

im open to suggestions but this is the best **legit setup (imo)
and it would cost you wellover 600 sojs

no in theory the best sorc would ALWAYS beat the best of any character
if you were playing on ethernet and had a 7 fps cast rate
and could cast hydras/orbs/nova fast enough you would be un stoppable no matter how much absorb (except a barb with dual 108 lightsabres =-)

i picksilence 08 eaglehorn or a cruel if someone doesnt like knockback or if they say its illegal so i dont care much

You guys realise that if 1.10 ever does come out pierce wil no longer work with guided right? the way it is now is not the way blizzard intended it. without pierce on guided it will be seriosly nerfed

All char classes have major advatages over others. There aren't any overpowered classes, some are just easier to use than others.

just certain things are easier to attain or harder to counteract
(slow, poison, buriza!)

You think zons are overpowered Apoq? I disagree, they have cheap items but a burritozon will never be able to kill a really good char, no matter how much poison and slow she has. I usually dont bother fighting those kind of players though...

only because they have range, which is an advantage vs. melee classes.

yes and they can poison/knockback/slow you
other ranged classes aren't as effective at doing this
sorcs can't poison/knock (cold dmg can stun)
necros pnova isn't far away enough to be considered ranged
bonespirit doesnt /stun/knock/slow
assassins can stunwith ranged but do little damage with traps
elemental druids aren't very effective from very far away
