Post RPG Updates

Well, not only have we gotten ourselves a dedicated server (Thanks to WetWired, of course), but I have also managed to get my hands on the latest pay version of the RPG add-on for vBulletin, thanks to Zajako (the author of the hack) who has decided to let us get to use it for free.

It certainly comes with more than just a few updates this time. While it might look similar at first, there are quite a bit of features, and I'm not going to bother explaining them all. Instead, go click that little nifty, blue RPG button in top right of the forum menu. If you're using another theme than the default Synthesis, you can just navigate directly to this link until I've gotten a RPG link up for all themes:

So, get in there and click the Help link to get started.

If you've used the hack before and are just dying to know what some of the important changes are, I could start off by saying that the winner of a battle gets all of the money used for the challenge. Another important thing is that both the level up and item systems work this time to my current knowledge. Oh, and if you get challenged, you'll get a PM and have an easier time to get into the arena.

Now, what hasn't been fixed yet, that's still on the to-do list, is random monster battles, and the in-battle attacks are still set to a fixed amount of damage. You can't miss an attack, which will make the outcome very predictable. Of course, by knowing this, you should be able to plan a strategy or two by equipping yourself with some special items to change the odds a bit...

Well, have fun playing the game, and if you want to help me with the development, you can always make 640x480 maps for me with tools like RPGMaker, by simply taking a screenshot of an area and sending it to me.

Soon enough, there will be no more cheated money, nor money for spamming.

You like to cheat or you just like to exploit things?
