NFS:U sucks. The only good thing about it is the online mode. If you want a real import/tuning game get Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 it is fully tunable and also its highway racing. Over 200 Cars and 600 Rivals. Excelent Replay Value.
Actually the worst part is online mode. Everyone has a damn infinite NO2 hack, and EA does nothing about it.
Actually, the games are completely different styles. Tokyo Xtreme Racer is all about unorganized (event wise) street racing on the highways, while NFS:U is about organized race events on city streets, and more bling than you can shake a stick at. They are both very good games for what they are, but they aren't real competition for each other. I've played some version of Tokyo Xtreme Racer and like it, but it wasn't for PC and NFS:U is, so...
Oh I agree but I'm just saying TXR3 is better. I know they are different. I have spent countless hours on GameFAQs explaining the differences of them. I just prefer TXR3 to NFS:U. NFS:U is a great game when you need a laugh or two, and it is arcade so you can pick it up and play.
I'm gonna go buy nfs:u and then I'll get the tokyo racing game when I save up more money, I've just played NFS:U a few times so It'd be a better buy for me

Race 81, and that's the best style you can come up with? I'll try to remember and get some screenies of the cars that I've had.
Well, I don't like horribly flashy cars, and I don't like any of the uniques, except that blue/silver wavy one, but everyone uses it. So yeah, mine stays simple. I'm thinking of switching to skyline though... who knows.
Nu! When do I get lvl 3 paint? I thought I already received it, but all it does is show me the paints, still locked though... eh. I usually stop playing after I come up to a 5-6 lap race... fuckers are now hard to catch up to if I mess up.
You have to select one of them and act like you're going to use it, then it asks if you want to pay to unlock level x paints. Once you pay, they all get unlocked (as in switch colors all you want for free), so definately do it. Also, level 2 gives you metalics (click left or right by "gloss paint"), and level 3 gives you perlescant (think chemeleon). I made a pic of the various cars and styles I've had in underground mode and the cars I use for quick race, but I didn't have my CD-RW, so I'll probably post it tomorrow.
