I think it would be cool to have a downloading place. Where people can link to there download (so it doesnt kill your bandwidth) and let other users download them.

That's a bit unspecific. What "download" that people can link to are you talking about? We've had downloads before, and users could submit their own links for thorough investigation, to avoid possible virus threats. Not many people used the download section as-is, either depending on a somewhat low availability of files, or simply because there are better sources to get various, freeware downloads.

But really, go ahead and let me hear your best arguments, and I may consider to enable a download section.

The D2 section could use a place where we could host D2Hackit modules and whatnot, since Hellmonkeys got shut down by Blizzard.

Hard to locate good, working links for D2 files these days.

Yes, but be sure that you put a disclaimer that "This are just projects of coding. They are not intended for use, as they violate copyright laws". Or whatever. I beleive this was brought up in a thread about hellmonkies site.

Ok let me explain.
A place were I could go to add a download. And so your bandwidth doesnt go off the walls, make it so you can only make it a link to your download (someone else has to host it) and since I have about 50 firewalls and a router (awesome firewall) I would be happy to approve the downloads. Make sure there safe and what not. Then when there approved people can go in and download the stuff. I think it would be a cool thing to have. I would like to put some games I made up along with other little programs I made. This would also be good because people could put there RPG Maker games on it.

I like the idea. I wasn't going to interject, and this really isn't the place either, but it is totally driving me crazy.

They're = They are.
There = in reference to a location.
Their = shows possession.

As in:

Make sure they're safe and what not. Then when they're approved people can go in and download the stuff.

Yea, I know lots of people that want to show off their flash movies they made.
