Ok, well first, a kid is running through a forest, and all is fine and dandy. Then the kid runs through his village gates and heads home with his freshly picked batch of whatever food or wood, and sees his dad waiting outside for him. His dad is about 6 feet and is wearing a long, dark red, almost maroon colored cape, with a white shirt and white pants. The clothes have religious decorations, but they are unlike anything seen in the land. The boy then runs inside to see his mom, but when he gets inside he sees some men holding his mom and one is getting ready to slit her throat. The kid turns to run outside, when he runs into his father. The kid looks up and begs his dad to help out his mom, but the dad just smiles and whispers to the kid. Then, the kid stops crying and gives his dad a look, like "You Promise...". The dad walks up to the mom and starts to fondle her a little and the kid looks away, disgusted. Then the mom gets her head and a foot loose, and kicks the dad where it hurts and yells for the child to run. The child immediately bolts out the door and into the woods, while behind him, his mothers' screams are cut short. he runs deep into the woods and searches for the elder's house. Upon finding the elder's house, he discovers the body of an elderly man wearing a White Bishop's cloak stained with blood. The body is in a contorted position with his chest cavity torn open and the innards are thrown around the ground with no care as to where they were to land. The kid leaves there and wanders through the woods for weeks, then months, and then years. The kid is now a Man at the age of 31-38 and has taught himself to fight and hunt and do what he can to survive. He is not in the best shape of his life, but he is surviving. He would use the clothes of wanders to keep himself clothed. One day, a wizard is traveling through the woods, and before the man can attack, he paralyzes him. The man falls from a tree and hits the ground, and the wizard walks up to him and tells him, "You want to know the truth of your father, then meet me here!" The man is bewildered but before he can say anything, the wizard is gone. He looks at the map and realizes he is to meet this man at his old house.

So, from there you go through the game uncovering secrets about a cult your father belonged to, and that he welcomed another soul into his own body. This caused him to not be himself from time to time. When the man's father tried to leave the cult, they took out his soul and left the evil to control his body. The village elder was a result of the father trying to get the evil soul out, but the evil soul took control and killed the elder.

At the end of the game, you are supposed to ressurect your father and bring his good-hearted soul back into his own body. As you go through the ressurection process, you realize how things don't add up, there are still peices missing, but that only motivates your character to ressurect your father. Just as the ressurection is complete, your character realizes why there were so many missing peices to the puzzle that is your father; it was all a trap. Only the blood of a relative can ressurect someone and you father had hired a con artist to make you complete this task. As you are remembering the day that you ran away from your father, you remember the way your dad just whispered something to your mother's ear before you turned and ran. Your character is suddenly filled with a great hatered that gives your character an never-before-known ability: he was part (less than half) demonic slayer-type person and this race of people had amazing strength to combat the demons, which you are just about to do. So you fight your father, and if you win, you get a happy ending that shows the world peacefully under your watch. But, it you lose, your father kills you and drains the blood from your body. Your character's blood is fed to a vile mutant demon dog creature who thrives on the blood on demon slayers. Then the world is covered in a thick cloud of death, chaos, hatred, and betroyal.

It's not the best of stories, but something original (I think)! Enjoy!!!

Wow, thanks! I made it up as I went along, but I come up with short stories all the time. Sometimes they're about movies i've just seen or recently seen, and sometimes they come from out of no where. I have many ideas, I just need to put them together into a sensible story, and *BAM* you got an E3 showstopper!

Okay here's a new story!

As thunder claps and rain pours from the sky, a man is slaughtered in front of his family. Elsewhere, a woman is raped repeatedly for weeks before she is killed. And still elsewhere, a child is left with no parents because of the abusive life they led. One man will stand up to the evil that plagues the continent, and that man is Kohaku! Kohaku is a young man who uses the weapons of demon origin and human origin alike. He uses spells and brute force to vanquish enemies. The only problem is, he isn't alive! Kohaku was born in a very rich part of town, where crime never happened. Crimes were told to the children to make them behave, and it did that very well. But, as often happens, stories are acted out, and the worst of all was the story of the Child Murder Crime. It happens like this:

Bad children who stay out too late, or disobey their parents, are attacked by a caped creature who steals their soul and dismembers the bodies. He is a mastermind who was never apprehended because his work is very skillful. He never leaves a trace of remains or evidence. So behave or you could be next.

...This was recreated to such great detail that the body was even shown off(with missing parts, but it was still identifiable) and words were carved into its flesh! The words read: Beware of the Caped Child Murderer! When the village discovered the body, it was immediately identified as Kohaku. He was pulled out of the tree the next day and buried. His soul couldn't just leave with his death unavenged, so he returned to his body and rose from the dead! With his new life, he created a disquise so no one could tell it was his lifeless body full of...well half-life. Not too long after, he discovered the identity of his killer, and tortured the victim om such gruesome ways, that Chinese Torture techniques looked like child's play. After the man was killed, he tried to go back to his gravesite for a peaceful afterlife, but found that he was not able to return, for his duty was not yet complete. He may have killed the murderer, but he was a mere puppet in a great web that is the world of the living, dead, and all that lies in between. He then learns that someone in a town a few hundred miles away would have an answer to his problems, so he started his travels. He fought many monsters, and found that he can "steal" techniques from fallen foes. He has to defeat many foes that use a certain technique before he can aquire it, though. He arrives in the village and has learned the techs of Cinder, Rockfall, and Soothing Winds. He keeps to the shadows, due to his appearance, and travels the city streets only at night. He is not there long, when he obtains information on a shape-shifting demon that can look like anyone or anything at anytime. Kohaku then decides to find out what this demon knows, and finds him at a poor man's house. No one expects the poor man to be a shape-shifter, it's the perfect disguise, right? Wrong. Kohaku sees through the disguise easily, and attacks. The fight is long, but Kohaku pulls through and vanquishes his enemy, and as the demon lies in pain on the floor, he chuckles, blood spurts from his mouth and he dies. Kohaku rips the soul from the body, but a ghostly figure appears and pulls the soul from Kohaku's hands. It thanks him, laughs, and disappears just as sudden as it had appeared.

Sorry, not finished yet, gotta get some sleep! G'night for now!

Mwuahahahaha Mahahaha Mwuahaha*cough cough* ^ahem^ Here's part 2!

As day comes, Kohaku hides from the eyes of the living. He decides to search farther still, and on his way to the next village, he comes across the figure he had met before, only now he was strewn on the groud for abou 15 feet. He had with him a container that looked like an old lamp, and inside was a glowing sphere. He quickly snatched up the container and opened it, and what came out was the soul of the monster he had just defeated in the previous town. He quickly devoured it and questioned the downed Soul Thief known to many as Death. Death explained that he was on his way to Hell's Gate and was attacked by a creature that feared nothing, yet shrank in fear when he heard a scream of some sort. Kohaku then takes what little energy Death had away, and devoured his soul as well. He continued on his journey, and some 3 days later he had to stop. He believed that he was tired, but thought to himself, "The dead never tires. What manner of trickery is this?" Not long after his struggle to figure out what was wrong with him, he went unconscious. When he awoke, he was on a wagon that was being taken somewhere. The wierd thing was that he was not in a cage or in any way mistreated. He sat up and turned to the driver to ask where he was headed, and the driver just knodded his head and replied, "Don't worry, Traveler, go ahead and get your rest!" Traveler?!? Could he not see that he was a corpse walking the Earth. He told the driver, "You see me as a living corpse, yet you still help me? Why? I don't understand any of this!" The driver laughed, "Living corpse? Ha, you must have taken a greater hit than I thought!" Kohaku brings his knees to his chest, and realized that he was wearing someone else's legs. He jumped, and to his surprise, the legs moved with him. He remembered that he could absorb powers of fallen adversaries, but even full demons? This he thought could come in handy. He reached up to grab the driver when he felt a sudden rush of energy that invigorated him. The driver convulsed and turned to look at Kohaku and was shocked to see that the passenger he had picked up was in fact a living corpse. Flesh hung from tears in the skin, and a foul odor came from the rotted thing of a man. Kohaku quickly grabbed the driver and sucked his soul from his body into Kohaku's hands, and then swallowed it in one gulp. He focused his mind and took the form of the driver, and drove the wagon all the way to the next town.

In the next town, he dropped the cart off at the local stable and went to gather information from townspeople. The townsfolk outside of his hometown knew much about the Child Murderer and of the monsters and demons that roamed the world freely. He found a great deal of information on Hell's Gate, The Mayor, and a demon who happens to be terrorizing the local women. You decide to offer your services to make some money to purchase weapons and armor to battle you foes. Not too long after posting your services up at the Jailhouse, Pub, and few other places, you are known throughout the entire town as a demon slayer. You do not like the title, because you yourself are something of a demon, but it gets you money and information on many things you couldn't have gotten before. You even get free armor and weapons from some people, and free wagons, food, and horses from others. You decide to question the Mayor about the demon, but when Kohaku approaches the house, he hears a conversation between a man and a voice too low to hear. Kohaku immediately breaks in and sees a shadow vanish, and the Mayor has a look of guilt on his face. He accuses you of being a spy and are grabbed by nearby guards, and thrown in the jailhouse. After a few days of waiting, the Sheriff leaks some valuable information to you. He informs you that one of the maids of the mayor overheard him talking to himself in his room. When she peaked in, she saw a shadowed figure disappear into thin air. When she told the Sheriff, he told her it was her imagination, but when she returned to the mansion, she was never heard from again. So Kohaku decides to sneak into the mayor's mansion, and the Sheriff tells you of a passage way that leads from the cell, to an underground route, to right outside the north wall of the mansion. Kohaku takes his advice to check back every few hours, incase some one came to see the "driver" he would indeed be in the cell. The Perfect alibis, should something go wrong. He exited the cell and passed through the underground route which was a tunnel high enough so he could walk. This was his greatest benefit, for now he could run, and since he is dead he will not fatigue. It takes him about 20 minutes to make it through the tunnel, and as he comes out of tunnel, he realizes why it was near impossible to find, it was covered by a bush. He looks at the wall and ponders how he should enter. Should be stalethy, like James Bond? Or should he go in there "balls out" and kill anything and everything he comes across. He starts to pace back and forth when he sees a light come from the corner of the wall and head in his direction. He starts to panic and decides to hide in his escape tunnel. Just as he slides into the tunnel and closes it, the light passes over it...and sees nothing. Kohaku decides to plan this out a little more and heads back to his cell. When he arrives, the Sheriff tells him that he had a visitor. A lady. Kohaku doesn't know of anyone outside of his town, so who could know him?

Find out in tomorrow's installment of "Untitled" (hows that for an original title?) See ya a little bit later maybe!

Hmm, wish I could write at ALL. Odd that he sucked up Death's soul.. I wonder what kinds of effects that would have?

I do wonder how that'd look in a game, though - that'd be one long introduction right there..
