The SCA is better. There's something to be said for getting dressed in armor, and smacking someone in the head as hard as you can.

I love D&D, played it for 8years... I can't play it anymore tho, no time. It is fun when you dont take it too serious and you are goofing off with friends. I can't stand when geeks play it
