favorite stages and your strats for them

personally, i like zanzibar for most games. I hang out around the rockets on top early game and then later when things settle down after the original rush for the weapons i try to get my hands on a sniper rifle and take it either in the window of the cave since a lot of fights happen along the side where the other sniper rifle spawns or i get up on top of the sea wall which also provides a decent view of that side... however if u miss the other sniper then ur pretty much toast from up there due to lack of cover... also if i get the sword i like to hang around the base and use it to hide and stirke... works fairly well for me


I also like midship as well, especially neutral bomb and/or ctf classic. Not much to say about this one except the sword or the ppistol/Brifle own there shotgun is decent for defense as well

I like Ivory Tower. I just hit up Magnum/SMG until I get to the top, then if the Sniper is open, I just started picking it up (It is actually super easy to Snipe up there since the area for opponents to run is so small).

I hate Burial Mounds.

I don't really like Ascension, but I just found out last week that you can take the Banshee to the top of the really tall towers (Above the two main Sniper towers). I haven't been able to snag a Sniper then grab the Banshee to get there in a game yet, so I don't know if this is common, and useless knowledge.

I don't really like Beaver Creek, but when I play there with my roommate, we just chill behind the base (Both with Magnum/SMG combos), and double team anyone that creeps around the corner (We both look in other directions to get each others back). When you play against good players though, they rarely run in groups smaller than 2 and usually 1 has the rockets, which fairs well against us..

I have to be the best Level 10 in XBox Live. I swear.. I get the shittiest party members.

My favs are 1v1 Lockout. I usually get Smg/Handgun, I take the sword usually but don't use it, cause I'm less than average w/ sword.
Usually I do pretty good 1v1 Ascension, just own w/ whatever I've got, unless they have rockets or are good w/ sniper. I have a hard time dodging rockets, unlike EVERYONE I shoot at w/ a rocket. A good sniper owns all on acension especially if the move from spot to spot.
Midship I LOATH!
Beaver creek/rumble pit/handgun,smg. Try to stay out of the middle mainly, run in and out of tunnels over/around bases.
Foundation I usually fair pretty well. Dual smgs, just cause they are readily avalible. I usually don't go out of my way for a weapon. Don't know if thats bad or not.
I don't do the big levels much cause I hate being sniped and I can't snipe well at all, plus I don't play Big team battle...

mine is beaver creek when ur team has the rockets and u have a pistol/smg combo and get so many rampages

Beaver creek with Plasma Rifle/SMG combo and a shotty on switch. I just get on top of the base, check for snipers/rocketers every once in a while, wait for people to come around the base(which they do frequently)and just jump down behind them, shot in the back with fully charged plasma pistol and kill them with the SMG, rinse and repeat.

I always own that map doing that.
