Unhappy XBox Officially Broken
Reply
Posted 2005-03-23, 03:51 PM
Well, as you could probably guess from the title... My XBox finally died on me. It will not read any games anymore and just blinks a yellow and green light continuously, then a red and green light when it is telling you it is broken...

I guess I will have to buy a new one either tomorrow or Friday..

Wow, what a piece of shit... Don't they do repairs on them, though, for like $50?

Apparently, it is a motherboard problem that needs to be repaired, and no store I called will do it. They all said to ship it to Microsoft for the repair. A new XBox would be faster, and almost as expensive in the end after shipping and whatnot. So, it's not worth it..

If you trash your xbox, make sure you yank the hard drive first... and any other components that you might could put into a computer.
