One of the main P2P clients for Gnutella, LimeWire is to work out a way to block people sharing pirated content.
According to Slyck news around three to five days ago, LimeWire developers began working on two new branches of the code, cc_reverify_interval-branch and cc-publish-branch.
The first branch will verify that every file shared has a license. If this is not the case, the file will not be shared. The second branch is for publishing one's own work without a licence.
If an individual shares an unlicensed MP3 file, the LimeWire client will display a message and block its distribution.
I don't know maybe its my values. When I do things that could have an effect on someone else I put myself in there shoes and ask myself if I would want that done to me... So if I was a music artist, or a movie director, or something of that nature, I would hate knowing that millions of people are downloading my music/movies for free, which is also known as stealing.
Remember how LiveWire got banned? Because he used Zelarons theme in his own website and Chruser got mad because it was his hard work being stolen? Well its the same exact thing.
Also I work for the government.
edit, just so you know I have a huge collection of movies games anime and music and I bought every one.

Same with Movies and everything else... ill never have the money for Photoshop nor if I did would i buy it... i just doodle on it. So, no evil
