Who is going to play DnD: Stormreach?

To me it looks great if you play with together with friends. Like real life friends, get 4 computers or soo and put them in the same room and group with each other. But the fact that quest are almost impossible to do solo, and the only way to gain xp is by doing quest will turn away alot of players. I plan on getting it when I get back home at the end of the year, and playing it with my real life friends.

Anyone else going to get it?

It seems more interesting as far as MMORPGs are considered. It has no solo play, choosing to focus purely on a quality group experience. It seems to be akin to a PVE Guild Wars. I might end up getting it later on down the line (maybe after I move) but I think I am kind of turned off of MMOs.

Yea I was going to get it only if I had my friends with me to play it almost like a lan party. If you get a group of buddies together to play it, they say it is an almost perfect translation of playing pen and paper DnD with your friends. And I would be roleplaying too, not just acting like its a game.

It takes place in the new Eberron campaign setting, not Forgotten Realms (the location of Baldurs Gate).
It takes place entirely within the city of Stormhold.
The level cap is 10(for now).
You can only gain experience by completing quest, not by killing monsters.
It is nearly impossible to solo with any class, it is highly reccomended you do quest with well balanced groups.
The combat is a mix between classic DnD dice rolls, and twitch combat where dodging and blocking and rolling out of harms way done manually.

*NOT* getting it. I didn't really care for the beta experience. It was just... meh I thought. I mean, it wasn't a terrible MMO, but I'm not really into MMO right now, and it doesn't provide enough to make me want to get it. If we're going for the D&D aspect, it's not nearly as fun as actually doing it, and in a college environment, it's easy enough to find a group that's playing IRL.

I'm throwing my money at Oblivion and Spore when they come out.
