And Sonic's plot isn't? He's a hedgehog that runs really fast and has to collect gold rings. At least Mario has a goal to accomplish. Sonic is just mindlessly zooming around picking up worthless trinkets.

Oh, and Mario had three TV shows, his own cereal and a movie. Sonic had two really bad shows and a buttload of really bad games.

I liked the Super Mario Bros. Movie. It certainly wasn't very close to the plot of the games, but it was still a fun movie.

There were three Mario cartoons. The Super Mario Bros. Super Show, Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World. All three shows aired sometime between 1985 and 1992.

Actualy Sonic had a goal too just like Mario
Sonic goal = Prevent Robotnik masterplan
Mario goal = Save the Princess from Bowser

Sonic quality = Fast
Mario quality = ?thick headed?

Robotnik goal = World domination
Bowser goal = ? he had the princess so(dirty stuff ?)

I liked Sonic and Mario both but i prefer way much more Sonic

The only problem Sonic could get is if a pipe would break in his bathroom.
But then again he could throw a few coins at Mario to fix it

Sonic, without a doubt.

Maybe tonight we'll fly so far away... We'll be lost before the dawn...

Mario, forsure.

It always made me mad, back in the good ol' days, when the Sonic cartoon was on, he always lived. I wanted him to DIE. I was a sadistic child. :O

if uve ever played sonic adventure 1 or 2, they actually have good plots. and they have cut scenes to futher expand the plot. the new mario games are the same: rescue the princess. and the only cut scenes are bowser running away with the princess. dont u think that is getting a little old???

Sonic had better music.

They should kill both Mario and Sonic now though, After Sonic & Knuckles it started sucking (although the GBA ones were/are good), and Mario has become a rich kid who was mugged and is now being beaten with a stick while cowering on the ground (I mean they're just milkin it for money)
