Terragen Fun
Reply

Okay it seems everyone is getting in on the terragen fun, I thought I'd add in my own picture. The land is horrible, completely untrue, the slopes should have LESS snow than the tip but i had that completely backwards so that needs fixing. The buttom near the shore had a lot of snow and the water is probably the only place I'm semi-satisfied with. This picture was a total failure.

I gave myself that critique just to be fair... I don't feel insulted... Don't know why =\

Well, since you probably are not going to use Terragen again, screw the "helpful" comments.

The snow is flat and looks poor. The land looks like it is completley flat and the colours look odd. The quality of this picture are below good. The good things? The colour of the water is nice. Unrealistic, but nice.

Whats the point of these pictures?

Yours is fine, i just don't see why anyone would need these, they arent good enough to go in a movie and lack a certain realism. What are they used for?

Nothing, that's why I hate terragen and has flamed anyone even attempting to use it more than once.

Randuin, how could you fail so utterly and miserably even with a tool like Terragen?!

I've seen some TALENTED AND SMART PEOPLE do really good stuff with terragen. Without those... rather key elements, anything you do will suck.
