I never really did care about post counts, though I used to have around 40+ post per day back in the first ~2 months when I joined.
Once I lost around 400 posts due to a rollback, but hey, nobody really looks at your post count anyway.
If I haven't been in a discussion with a member with three or more replies specifically to that user, or they aren't on my ICQ or AIM list, I base my initial opinion of them purely on post count.

Heh, apparently post count is still a factor to some members. Oh well, I don't really mind.
I've been studying all day, literally, so I didn't even notice the board was down. Only difference I noticed right away was my PM count. I guess I'll have to start Backing up the Database more often now.
Apparently this board was set back to approximatly 2 weeks. Me being the lifeless person i am spend most my online time here. I have not seen you on much recently at all. To get 1600 posts in 14 days you would be averaging more then 100 posts per day. Now not even i can do that on a consistant basis. Next off i would remember seing you post like mad as i refresh the "new posts option" quite frequently. You have not double posted recnetly nor spammed each and everyone of the chat forum topics. Therefor it is impossible for you to have attained 1600 posts in 14 days without getting banned or me knowing about it, or both O_o cause id probably be the one that would have banned you for massive spamming. Good enough?
Wow, you acually took the time to type that? It was "sarcasism"

Heh, to me it is just the spelling... and, see if the post is coherent or not.

I don't have to study for math, I'm technically a genius, just don't care to show.
Well obviously if the content of the post is bad, then my opinion of the person will further drop. However, if I don't have any other way to base my opinion on the person, I usually just stick with a lower post count merits lower respect. That's only if I have nothing else.
If a person join the forums and has great ideas and discussion and perhaps starts a few good threads, then, whether he has 100 posts or 10,000 posts, I will view him/her as an intelligent individual more than I would view someone without that advantage.

If a person has a thousand posts of bullshit, they'll get 1,000 times the bullshit from other users. If they post a thousand posts of good stuff, they'll get respect.
