You've torn me down,
You think you're something special
You'll always be nothing to me

You swiped away my tears when you told me not to fear
Everybody goes through a time where no one cares
But then you fed off me, and took from me, until I was nothing
And I saw that you really didn't care

I laid in a dormant cell and waited for you to release me
I couldn't breathe the air was thick with desperation
And when you came you only locked another door
And yet I still let you abuse me
Somewhere inside I refused to believe
That you would use me as you said you cared
So I stayed with you only to end up locked up in my cell

Tell me what was it that you said to me
That made me think that you'd be there for me
I'll tell you whatever you've said to me
has only brought me misery

I thought I couldn't stand on my own
So I put my trust in you
But I don't need your sympathy
I don't need your apathy
Your sympathy & apathy
Was all just more bullshit to me

I can't believe that I could be so stupid
As to invite you to bring me pain
If only I weren't so susceptible
I'm so fucking naive

And I don't care if you care
I learned on my own I have nothing to fear
