Absorb

Ok. How many of you people dont no what absorb is?

*looks around, noone has raised their hand* Good.

Now how many of you know that pure elemental builds like Fire sorcs, lite sorcs, foh'ers, trapsins, and cold sorcs can easily be absorbed?

*looks around, everyone has raised their hand* Good.

The point of my mock class lecture is to state that everyone knows that absorb is there, and that it can render certain builds nearly USELESS.

With that stated, (yes, its another one of my horor dueling games) I joined a hell dueling game and noticed a fire sorc in there. She probably did upwards of 10k dmg. (never made a fire sorc so idk). Of course I put on my sorb gear and kill her. SHE DIES. And now she says "You know your owned when you have to put on sorb!".

Now, I'm trying to understand how I was owned, maybe you can help. I mean i was the one still alive, standing with some 100k gold that she dropped.

Then he/she called me a noob for putting on sorb, but take this into consideration:

A) I'm not the dumbfuck who built a 'sorbable build.
B) I'm not the dumbfuck who chose to stand in front of a v/t and try to tank it.
C) I'm not the one who got slaughtered by a v/t 10 lowers then myself.

Now I'm curious on how I'm a noob, when they did shit dmg to me. Any ideas?

Also, why do sorcs cry so much when they see one item of sorb. All I had on was a Dwarf Star.
