National Honors Society

Well, not everyone lives in the USA, but the majority of us do. And, so, I suspect we all have some knowledge of this detestable organization. It serves two main goals:

1) Spur the "exceedingly intelligent" children on to surrounding themselves with their own kind, segregating them from the masses and boosting their level of arrogance to the level of they are either Jesus Christ or at least St. Michael the Archangel.

2) Put the "less intelligent" in their place and make sure they are wholy aware of the kids who are in the NHS, shoving how inferior they are into their face and beating into their mind they're future careers entail cubicles and a frier.

No, I am not a bitter loser with my panties in a bunch. I know I'm stupid. But, I also know a few people who are ages smarter than any of the punks in the NHS and they are not suffering under messianic delusions. (good phrase, thanks Moebius)
