dared devil vs the ring

...They're not even in the same genre. I wouldn't necessarily call that comparison a fair one. But for the sake of argument, I really enjoyed The Ring, and I don't really expect to be that entertained by Daredevil. I still want to see it, but I'm not having convulsions from the anticipation.

Daredevil wasn't a great movie... sure, it was cool as hell, but as far as story goes it didn't really delve far enough. It was two hours long, but it felt like 45 minutes. The Ring was two hours long and it felt like three. Daredevil just didn't have enough story to back up the action, it was pretty pure non-stop action. Some may want this in a movie, but I want a movie that can juggle "non-stop action" and story and make the movie not go by in a heartbeat.
