Animal crossing is cool, but some of the games on gamecube have limited capabailities lengthwise. Also you cant have the option of DVDs or music. Which ups the cost for most things. So basically your paying more if you want to get the same features of an Xbox or PS2. So there is one big dillema due to the Gamecube. It still is a good system tho.

I don't understand what you are trying to say. Are you saying the GameCube is lacking because it doesn't have useless features or are you saying it's bad because it's cheaper?

I am not saying it is bad, it just lacks features that others do...so that is why it is cheaper. Basically im proving my point justly

I don't see how not having a DVD player is supposed to be a fault in the Gamecube's design. I own about three DVD players, and frankly, I don't need another one taking up space in my GC. The Gamecube is solely designed for games, and as such, the technical quality of most games on the Gamecube is better than what can be found on the PS2.

So, yes, you're paying less for a GC and not getting a DVD player, but you are getting a more powerful console, and one that will last a lot longer.

You see, Nintendo is focusing on the gaming aspect of the system, and not installing frills and gimmicks.
