Does God/a supernatural being exist???

I'll ignore all your comments and just say... I only believe because of the fear, of what happens after death.

I would speculate that at least 90% of devout religious people believe for the same reason you do.

Bible codes? I've heard of them, but what a load of bollocks. Prob just a load of publicity:

Oh, let's say the bible predicts everything, that'll get people to turn religious and read it to know what happens.


Look at predictions and look at the french prophet Nostradamus. OK, a few of his things came true, but the actual prophecies were so vague, they could have applied to anything.

God is created by belief. There's some great quote that I can't quite remember that says along the lines of:

If there wasn't a God, then man would create him/her/it in the end.

OK, there may be some sort of truth in it though. Look at it this way. Using the Cosmological Argument and the Teleological ARgument, heck all the Arguments, we can say that there is a greater chance that God does exist. Why? People through history prove it: Ghandi (or does he?), Mother Theresa etc. If there wasn't a God, why would so many people worship him, even if it is in diferent ways? The Bible can't have been made up that easily. There are many tue figures in there that were actual figures in history. Also, it would take a really great mind to actually create the Bible codes, which I doubt even Einstein could have done, so it must have been God coming to people in visions, and/or telling them what to write down.
