need good 2ways walkie talkie

My family has some kick-ass Motorola ones that we use for skiing (they have a range of a couple towns). Things are fucking beasts, more so than the ones you see security guys with. They're ridiculously expensive though. $500+ each. If you can get them though, do it. I'll try to find a model number and update this post later.

dang 500+? thats a lot, i dont think we will need that far of a range, half a mile would be more than enough. but most important feature is the sound, must be extremely clear, like phone quality.

They're pretty darn clear. Better than any other Walkie-Talkie I've ever heard. I can't seem to find them though, otherwise I'd tell you which ones they are.

but u said they cost well over 500bucks...i dont think my boss gonna spend that much for walkie talkie.

At my job we use, Motorola MTS 2000 Flashport. They work good, and the battery will last all day usually. I dont know how much they cost, but I pretty much work for motorola soo, they're probably free for us. Just google em and Im sure you could find the prices, or get some ebay style. I bet you could find JR's on ebay for cheaper.
