The death of a laptop

Just build a small desktop and put it in a backpack.

Add a battery backup and you're golden for about 40 minutes!

And it only weighs 40 pounds!

I've got a Dell laptop I've had tons of trouble out of. Shitty optical drives/motherboards/wireless cards.

Eh. Dell has treated my family well. It's gateway that has sucked.


Went through 3 hard drives before the piece of shit finally died.

Well, if I want a high performance laptop, it's Dell or Alienware (Dell), so...

Ack... now that'd take some work.

I'm sure I could do it, but it'd be cheaper to buy one, and take 2 years less time, too. Leave the PC design work to PC designers; it's definately a specialty field.
