I don't think that anybody will argue against evolution anymore, even the higher-up's in religion agree with it now, and are putting together co-existant theories.

Ehh, don't really want to debate it at the moment, just felt like writing up about it. Supposed to be more informative than inflammatory.

And actually I live with a young-earth creationist.

Many of our presidential candidates for '08 would disagree:

Evolution is a fact, if they can't agree with basic science then how would that be ANY different than anything laid out so basically in front of them.

Yes I understand that evolution is reality, but none of our other presidents were not religious, or close to none right? So it really doesn't say much. Just make sure the far out there ones don't get into office. Alot of intelligent people believe in a god. I still consider them intelligent and able minded, they just would never get 100% respect from me.

You're statement is backasswards, but here's a list of out former Prez's and their religion, some we're more-so than others, probably the most relevance that a President has shown his religion has been Bush, for the most part..

What's more important than whether or not they accept evolution is how they respond to the experts. A president who openly denies evolution, something that the experts vehemently and unequivocally assert as true, is a scary thing.

Kind of like the experts saying there was no proof of WMDs, and yet we storm in there pointing fingers everywhere, still no WMDs to be found, no trace of them, etc; and yet people are still finding ways to make it right. It sucks, but that's the way the world works.

It says something about his rationality. It also says something when he's willing to consider his own personal convictions more based in reality than the opinion of the experts.

IRAQ IS BAD.

But sir, expert analysis shows they have no weapons of mass destruction.

THEYRE AXIS OF EEVEL! FABRICATE EVIDENCE! THEY MUST HAVE WMD! NUCULARS NOW!

I get so frustrated listening to Limbaugh hearing people call in saying how the war in Iraq is being thrown off course by the left-wing media saying the surge isn't working.

That's not the point.

We shouldn't be there to begin with, and yet, they go through the ringer of trying to prove why the war is justified and it just doesn't ever make any sense.
