I think the logic is perfectly fine. It's the whole "eye for an eye" idea. This 18 year old punk ass raped an 8 year old girl and her father ass raped him as payback. He let him see what it's like. I'm not saying he did the right thing, but I wouldn't feel bad at all if they let the father off and put the 18 year old kid in prison.
