I think we need a newbie forum to attract more members to be active.

My suggestion: I always use 'View new posts', and it pisses me off that 80% of the new posts are from the D2 section, so I have to sift through them constantly. I want an option to block certain sections of the forum.

I know what you mean there, GravitonSurge. There's usually 8-9 threads with "pindabot! help me!". That WOULD be nice to get rid of things you NEVER read, say from games you don't own..

If anyone reads this, I think it would be a good idea to add a button that does the [img], and one for bold, size, and color.
Oh yes and one for [url].

I think there should be a New Thread and Add Reply at the bottom of the page on Synthesis. I am very used to it there but I've seen that it might not fit there so I don't know.

Those should be in the reply form (the separate page, not the quick reply). You may have turned them off in your user options.

The new thread button inside a thread was deemed useless, and a reply button right above a reply box looked silly, so those two option are available at the top, and the reply link is also in the title of the Quick Reply box under the title of "[Full Featured Reply]" Honestly, though, I've found that Quick Reply is usually sufficient.

I always use 'view new posts' too, and I would have an option to block all/certain section of forum except one (D2).
This way, it could be easier for me to see ALL of them, coz when I have like 3 pages to look at, it's ennoying to browse through.

He, btw GS, you excess : 80% is a bit too much, hehe

Well, such a hack could be written, but right now we are busy finishing up the new forum style. Maybe we will have time afterwards. In the mean time, for the extremely annoyed, we could block your access to the D2 forum, which should also prevent search results.

That'd be decent. I'd take that, since I don't HAVE D2. It wouldn't matter to me.. And if it would cut out 10+ Threads in the View New Posts search, I'm all for it.

Right, because we all know we'd pay $5 a ticket to win a blank CD. I'd rather win a Corvette, Dodge Viper, Dodge Charger, Ford(?) GTO, or a Toyota Supra car wise... :O)
