I got this demo of half-life... and i want to get it, but on amazon and ebay i can buy half-life counterstrike, and i am wondering, do i need to buy half-life and CS, or just the Half-Life CS game
i am downloading half-life on kazaa right now... wonder if i should keep going or just go out and but Half-Life CS,
thanks

if you buy half-life, then you need to dl the counterstrike hl mod version. if you buy retail counterstrike, then that is all you need. also if you are dl'ing it you will need a legit key so you can play online. counterstrike is only fun if you play online

#1 don't download anythign but videos, pics, or music from Kazza.
#2 If you want the game and don't wanna buy it go to Wally world and write a CD key down.
#3 www.counter-strike.net has updates and such.

I suggest buying the original halflife (orange CD) and downloading CS as a mod, if you have cable/dsl. Otherwise.. whatever. I hate the retail version, it censors the gun names >_<

If you buy the retail version, you still have to get an updated version for counter-strike..go get the oldest half life you can, its the cheapest and you get the updates for free

If you just got HalfLife, that is 1 CD key vrs $10 more for 3CDkeys. It is good for when you can sell the keys to friends for 10 a peice. Like I did.

Yes one CDkey is fine, but like I said you could sell the others for like 10 a peice and make 20 from it. So you save 10 dollars and you have multi cds.
