Old-school sonic to be on xbox

Sega will release an Xbox version of Sonic Mega Collection Plus, in addition to a previously announced PlayStation 2 version.

Xbox owners will also be getting their hands on the large compilation of Sonic the Hedgehog games to be released this holiday season. Sega has announced that it will release Sonic Mega Collection Plus for Microsoft's console in November. The game will retail for $19.95.

The Xbox version includes all 17 Sega Genesis and Game Gear games in the previously announced PlayStation 2 version, and it will also contain art and comics in the game's "Sonic Museum." The full list of Sonic games includes:

Genesis games
Sonic the Hedgehog
Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Sonic the Hedgehog 3
Sonic & Knuckles
Sonic 3D Blast
Sonic the Hedgehog Spinball
Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine

Unlockable Genesis games
The Ooze
Comix Zone
Flicky
Ristar

Game Gear games
Sonic the Hedgehog
Sonic Chaos
Sonic Drift
Sonic Labyrinth
Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine
Sonic Blast

I'm definately getting this for PS2 when it comes out. Has anyone else actually played the comix zone game, or am I the only one?

Very interesting, I was an old sonic fan myself.

Again there are too many games coming out soon.

nice, i have sonic for Genesis, and game gear... but you forgot sonic 2 for game gear. I just hope they will be as good as the origionals.
