Ok I just had to since the first one was kind of active I made two but specified on what in RM we are talking about.... and Tiles like how what when where and why certain types should be used or/and clashed together.

09:18 PM:
Lets start with is it better to use multiple tilesets or have it static.... multi meaning having a different tileset for each town. Static meaning using the same town tileset for each town. Remeber this is a convo about anything tileset so it could transform into how i looks to where you place or how you use or relationships what ever has to do with tilesets.

First to reply to this thread as well.

Anyway, RMXP tilesets are basically just the second menu part in RM2K3 tilesets.

They are, however, longer, and can be as long as possible, meaning you can put all the tilesets into the one, but that means a lot of scrolling.

For things such as Water, or waterfalls and such (called Autotiles in XP), you add those to the tileset in the Database menu, but you can only have eight (I think - it may be 6).

It is amazing how simple it is.

Here's an example, tileset and then an Autotile:

Ignore the fact that the .zip file is called Copy of Stuff for Wormy, the only way I can now create new .zip files is to copy existing ones. Don't know why but...
